What a pain! Analgesia in exotic pets

As many exotic species instinctively mask signs of illness and discomfort, subtle behavioural changes can easily go unnoticed, making effective assessment and nursing care essential to their recovery and welfare.

This session explores the unique challenges of nursing hospitalised exotic pets, providing veterinary professionals with practical strategies to recognise behavioural indicators of pain and stress, improve patient handling and minimise distress during hospitalisation. The aim of this webinar is to remove the fear of treating these common exotic pets and empower professionals to advocate for their needs.
